The theme this week will be

Drat.. wouldn't you know it.. I had this whole "fairy " theme for "magical " idea.. and I even had the picture in mind I wanted to post.. but when I got home and started to scan the picture.. the scanner "magically" quit.. I cannot re~start it.. the computer says it can't find the printer.. I even picked the printer up and showed the computer.. "see, here it is.. this is what it looks like , you were just talking to it .." nope.. no go at all.. Drat.

SO.......... I had to browse thru my 'on had fotos' for something MAGICAL.. no unicorns, no fairies, no dragons... nothing.

Of course, there were sunrise/sets.. which are magical in themselves..but not magical enough that I wanted to post on them.. having been dis~illusioned about my previous idea.....

I kept stopping on one particular group of fotos.. it's a stretch I think.. .. thinking WAY outside the box this time.. but I took a series of pictures (shameless plug for the rest of the pictures I took.. click link! )

when we went into Lewis and Clark's Caverns up in Montana a couple summers ago.. and they turned out pretty durn good I thought, for being in the dark depths of the Earth..

I find all the formations and crystals almost magical.. like they could be hiding something just around the next formation..

Watch out.. there be gnomes and things in the dark...

Great pictures... I've never visited caverns.. cept for the ones in an tropical island once but it was just deep enough to home bats. No stalactites. Must be fascinating.

I did some haiku on pictures from this place a year or so back... I really want to see them in person. The pictures are so amazing and I know they don't do them justice in size or wonder...... those darn faeries must have messed with your scanner.....
