I made this Blackfoot dress a few years ago. It is made out of three elk hides and sewn with sinew. It took me almost three months I think! I do wear it, but not all the time. It is very heavy! the first time I wore it, I had bruises on my shoulders from the weight! I am looking for something to do with the sleeves (tails or such). I am not good with bead work, but I would like some sort of bead work on it... but that will have to be at a later date. The scarf that hangs around it is Souix.
